Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Enikanolaiye Attends Africa-France, Congo Basin Summits in Nairobi
Nairobi, Kenya – Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, is in Nairobi for two high-level meetings focused on Africa’s development and climate action.
Enikanolaiye is representing Nigeria at the Africa-France Summit, themed _“Africa Forward,”_ and at the Congo Basin Climate Summit, both currently underway in the Kenyan capital.
Photos from the events show the minister engaging with counterparts from across the continent and beyond. He was pictured alongside his Moroccan counterpart, with Nigeria’s Ambassador to France, Ambassador Ayodele Oke, also in attendance.
The Africa-France Summit is convening leaders and officials to discuss economic cooperation, security, and youth-focused initiatives under the _Africa Forward_ agenda. The Congo Basin Climate Summit is bringing together stakeholders to address forest conservation, biodiversity, and climate resilience in one of the world’s largest carbon sinks.
Nigeria’s participation signals its continued engagement on continental issues ranging from economic partnership to environmental sustainability.
