NIPR EXPRESSES GRIEF OVER THE SUDDEN DEATH OF THE CHIEF OF STAFF TO THE KWARA STATE GOVERNOR
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has expressed shock, over the sudden demise of the Chief of Staff to the Kwara State Governor, Prince Mahe Abdul Kadir.
The NIPR in a statement jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of the state chapter, Mr Gabriel Ogunade and Abdul Rahman Sanni described the death of the foremost Prince of Ilorin Emirate as a huge loss to the people of the state.
The statement which described the CoS as a pillar of support to the NIPR, noted the pivotal role he played in ensuring a befitting welcome for the visiting NIPR President to Kwara State, early this year, and massive support of the state government towards the National Spokespersons Summit organised by the Institute in Abuja in March this year.
The statement while condoling Governor Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and Ilorin Emirate Descendant Progressive Union(IEDPU),over the incidence,noted with displeasure that the deceased would be missed in view of his tremendous contributions towards ensuring accelerated socio- economic transformation of the state.
The NIPR which described death as an inevitable end of all mankind, urged the Governor, the Emir and the apex body of Ilorin Emirate socio cultural organization, to take solace in the fact that the departed CoS lived a life worthy of emulation.
The statement then prayed Allah to make al Janat Fridouz his final abode and gives the Governor, the Emir, his immediate family and the entire indigenes of Ilorin Emirate, the fortitude to bear the colossal loss.
