The new exco of the Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA) Kogi State branch has concluded plans to strengthen her committee for Free Medical Outreach, following the meeting in Government House Lokoja on Monday with the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The Governor of the State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ahmed Ododo commended the great effort of the NMA Kogi Committee of Past Chairmen which delivered an unprecedented medical outreach in Okene town.

According to Governor Ododo

The request by the governor for another free medical outreach before the end of the year was discussed at the meeting of the State Officers Committee (SOC) on Monday at the Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja following the visit to Government House Lokoja.

The new NMA Kogi State branch Chairman, Dr Abubakar Alhassan has promised the State Officers Committee (SOC) that the strengthened committee will be such that gaps discovered at the Okene outreach will be filled up.
