North Central SSAs Set to Hold Inaugural Meeting on Grassroots Mobilization for Tinubu 2027
The Forum of Senior Special Assistants to the Governors of North Central States has announced plans to hold its inaugural meeting aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization for the actualization of the Tinubu 2027 project.
The meeting, themed “Grassroots Mobilization for the Realization of Tinubu 2027,” is scheduled for December 12, 2025, at Ajuji Hotel, Gudu, Abuja, beginning at 10:00am.
According to the organisers, the event is designed to consolidate political structures across the six North Central states and deepen engagement at the community level ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting will feature high-profile political leaders as keynote speakers, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman of the North Central Governors’ Forum, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, will serve as Chairman of the Day.
Theme reviewers expected at the event include the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Rt. Hon. Zephaniah Bitrus Jisalo, and the Minister of Steel Development, Hon. Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, will attend as Special Guest of Honour, alongside Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq; Kogi State Governor, Usman Ahmed Ododo; and Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago.
Other special guests include the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Wase.
Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, is listed as Patron of the event.
The meeting is convened by Hon. Prince Oruma Ezekiel Ugbede, National Chairman of the Forum of Senior Special Assistants to the Governors of North Central States.
