The BAT Movement, Kano State Chapter of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement (BAT-MVT), has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to mobilizing grassroots support for the re-election of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2027 general elections.
In a strategic move aimed at deepening engagement with citizens across the North-West geopolitical zone, the North-West Coordinator of BAT-MVT, Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu, has announced the commencement of an extensive door-to-door campaign. This initiative, according to him, is designed to take the message of Renewed Hope directly to the people at the grassroots level.
Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting, Hon. Bala Dawakin Kudu emphasized that democracy thrives when leaders remain connected to the people. He noted that the door-to-door campaign would provide an opportunity to interact personally with households, traders, farmers, youth groups, women associations, and community leaders across towns and villages in the seven North-West states.
According to him, “The achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration speak volumes. However, beyond media reports and public addresses, we believe it is important to meet our people face-to-face, listen to their concerns, share the progress made, and strengthen their confidence in the Renewed Hope agenda.”
Hon. Bala Dawakin Kudu commended the President for his bold economic reforms aimed at stabilizing Nigeria’s financial system, improving revenue generation, encouraging local production, and attracting foreign investment. He described these reforms as courageous steps necessary to reposition the country for sustainable growth and long-term prosperity.
He further highlighted ongoing efforts in strengthening national security, enhancing agricultural productivity, expanding infrastructure networks, and promoting digital innovation. From improved transportation corridors to renewed emphasis on power sector reforms and youth empowerment initiatives, he noted that the administration is laying a solid foundation for inclusive development.
The North-West Coordinator stressed that the door-to-door campaign would not merely be a political exercise but a civic engagement strategy, Volunteers and coordinators will distribute informational materials, educate citizens on government policies, clarify misconceptions, and encourage active participation in the democratic process.
He also announced that Jigawa State will host the North-West Grand Flag-Off Rally of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement, bringing together supporters from across Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Jigawa, and Zamfara States.
The rally is expected to mark a significant milestone in the build-up to 2027, showcasing unity and collective resolve.
Hon. Bala Dawakin Kudu expressed deep appreciation to the National Chairman of BAT-MVT, Hon. Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, for his leadership, coordination, and tireless dedication toward strengthening the movement nationwide.
“As we approach 2027,” he stated, “continuity is essential. Transformational reforms require time to mature. The progress we are witnessing today must be consolidated, not interrupted.”
He therefore urged citizens of the North-West and Nigerians at large to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to:Consolidate economic reforms and fiscal stability,
Expand infrastructure and industrial growth,
Strengthen national security and social cohesion
Increase employment and youth empowerment programs, Promote inclusive governance and national unity.
The BAT Movement, Kano State Chapter, reiterated its full support for the Renewed Hope agenda and pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts across communities.
History, Hon. Bala concluded, will remember this period as a defining chapter in Nigeria’s democratic journey—a time when courageous leadership and collective determination shaped a stronger future.
