NYCN: Kabba/ Bunu Youth Group Picks Nomination Form for Nayo, Calls for Consensus

To the esteemed stakeholders of Kabba/Bunu, including community leaders, political leaders, and youth leaders,

As we navigate this critical phase of our local government’s development, it’s essential that we present a united front in selecting a charismatic and intellectually sound youth candidate for the chairman position of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kabba/Bunu.

We urge you to prioritize consensus over contest or election, ensuring our collective decision showcases the best interests of Kabba/Bunu’s youth. Let’s come together to identify, support, and endorse a vibrant youth leader with great antecedents, convincing experience in leadership, community service, youth activism, and a robust network of supporters.

We wholeheartedly endorse the candidacy of Rtr. NAYO Jude Babatunde to become the next coordinator of the Kabba/Bunu Chapter of the NYCN. Having served as the Director General of the OWE YOUTHS ALIVE (OYA) for two terms, we can make bold to say that Nayo embodies the following exceptional qualities, which include but not limited to:

Intellectual soundness the which is ability to think critically, solve youth related problems, and make informed decisions.

Charisma and leadership skills, which is the capacity to inspire, motivate, and unite the youth of Kabba/Bunu.

Innovative thinking which is a deliberately intuitive ability to generate fresh ideas and solutions to address the challenges facing our local government.

Passion for community development. A genuine commitment to improving the lives of Kabba/Bunu’s residents and promoting the local government’s growth.

Kabba/Bunu deserves the best representation at this crucial time. Our community has a rich history, cultural diversity, and immense potential for growth. We have produced notable leaders, scholars, and innovators who have made significant contributions to our nation’s development. Therefore, it’s imperative that we project a youth leader who embodies the values of excellence, integrity, and service.

As a very important Local Government Area in Kogi State, headquarters of Kogi West senatorial district and Traditional head of Okun land, Kabba/Bunu requires a youth leader who can effectively represent our interests, advocate for our needs, and contribute to the development of our local government.

We cannot afford to settle for mediocrity at this critical juncture. We must prioritize merit, competence, and character in our selection process. We owe it to ourselves, our community, and future generations to ensure that the best candidate emerges to lead our youth.

We urge you all to engage in thorough consultations, deliberations, and evaluations to identify the most suitable candidate. Let us put aside personal interests, partisan affiliations, and other biases to prioritize the greater good of our community.

By presenting a youth candidate like Nayo Jude Babatunde-Uyi who possesses exceptional qualities, we can demonstrate our dedication to empowering young leaders and driving progress in our community, state and nation at large. Let us work together to build a brighter future for Kabba/Bunu.

Together, we can achieve greatness.

With Solidarity,

Kabba/Bunu Progressive Youth Forum
