Oba Ibinaiye Congratulates Okemeta Kabba (Owe) People for the success of the 2024 Oka Festival
Ololu Obajemu of Oweland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Ibinaiye has congratulated the people of Kabba (Owe) Okemeta for the huge success of the 2024 Oka Festival.
He disclosed this in a chat with our correspondent describing the significant event in the yearly calendar of the Owe people as monumental, and pointed out that the residents of the Kabba community must be commended for their cooperation and support during and after the festival.
He said despite some individuals working tirelessly to see that the festival did not take place as scheduled to promote their self-ego but the wish of majority of the people prevailed, stressing that the New Year would usher in great blessings for the community.
Oba Ibinaiye further stressed that the Kabba community is peaceful and will continue to witness peace, urging those who are hell-bent on disrupting the peace and unity of the community to have a change of mind and allow peace and tranquility to reign.
He also used the opportunity to commend Okemeta council of chiefs led by Chief Adegboyega Aka, for their commitment to the growth and development of Oweland, prayed that God will continue to protect, guide and bless them.
He noted that the people of the community will continue to support every effort of the government geared towards improving the livelihood of the people, and praised Governor Ododo Usman for his impactful policies and programs since he assumed office early this year.
