OFU APC MOBILISES MASSIVE SUPPORT FOR TINUBU, ODODO, ERICO, UCHOLA, OTHERS AHEAD OF 2027
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ofu Local Government Area on Thursday took to the streets in a massive solidarity road walk in Ejule, to demonstrate its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, APC Kogi East Senatorial candidate, Chief Ameh Joseph Erico, the party’s candidate for Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. Victor Uchola, Ofu state House of Assembly APC candidate, Hon Isah Umaru, Igalogba State House of Assembly APC candidate, Rt. Hon Idris Omojo Mariam, ahead of the 2027 general and House of Assembly elections.
The procession was led by the Director-General of Kogi State Community Watch and Ancillary Matters, Hon. Muhammed Nasiru Alfa, the Executive Chairman of Ofu Local Government Area, Hon. Mohammed Lawal Musa, the Ofu Divisional APC Chairman, Hon. Salifu Wada, ward executives, and other party stalwarts.
The colourful mobilisation, which attracted party leaders, youths, women and supporters from across the local government, sent a strong political message of unity and readiness for the 2027 elections.
Chanting solidarity songs and displaying placards, the participants reaffirmed their confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo, while declaring their total support for the APC candidates.
Speaking to the press shortly after the roadwalk, the Executive Chairman of Ofu Local Government Area, Hon Mohammed Lawal Musa, said that the party in the area decided to test their capacity by doing the procession. He assured that the Ofu is ready to deliver all the candidates of the party come 2027 general elections.
Similarly, the Ofu Divisional Chairman of the APC, Hon Salifu Wada, noted that in the next year general elections no stone will be left unturned, and revealed that the party is ready more than ever to win at the polls.
The massive turnout further showed the growing strength of the APC in Ofu and the determination of its members to work collectively to deliver an overwhelming victory for the party in 2027.
The message from Ofu is clear: APC is united, mobilised and ready to win.
