Ogori Students Association Honours Hon. Charity Ijese for Leadership and Community Impact
In recognition of her exemplary leadership and contributions to the growth of Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State, the Ogori Students Association (OSA) has presented an award to Hon. Charity Ijese.
The award was presented during the 2025 OSA Award Night and Talent Hunt held at the Civic Centre, Ogori, in Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, the National President of the association, Comrade Oluwatoyosi Amurawaye, commended Hon. Charity Ijese for her visionary leadership and dedication to the development of her community.
He noted that the award recognizes her impactful contributions to the youth, and most especially the students, of the area, particularly in empowering them through educational opportunities, mentorship, and support programs that benefit their academic and personal growth.
“Hon. Charity Ijese’s leadership style is exemplary. She leads with integrity, inclusiveness, and a clear vision for the growth of Ogori-Magongo. Her initiatives have positively transformed lives, especially by supporting students, creating opportunities for the youth, and championing community development projects. Her dedication and tireless efforts make her truly deserving of this recognition, and we hope it will inspire her to continue her outstanding service and motivate other indigenes to actively contribute to the progress of our community,” he said.
Responding to the honour, Hon. Charity Ijese expressed gratitude to the Ogori Students Association and assured the people of her continued support for initiatives that promote community growth and youth development.
She also encouraged students to remain focused on their education and take advantage of programmes designed to enhance their academic and personal development.
