Okun League of Progressive Elites Condoles Yagba West, Kabba/Bunu Over Killings

The Okun League of Progressive Elites has condoled with the people of Yagba West Local Government Area and Kabba/Bunu over the recent killings in the area. The group expressed sadness over the attack that resulted in the deaths of three police officers and two vigilantes in Okoloke, Egbe, Yagba West.

In a statement signed by the leadership, the group described the news as profoundly saddening and extended their deepest condolences to the affected families and communities. They stood in solidarity with the people, sharing their grief and sorrow, and prayed for strength and unity in the face of the tragedy.

The group also condoled with the people of Kabba/Bunu over attacks in Osomule, Ofere, and Suku communities in Kiri land, which resulted in the loss of one life. They called on the authorities to take decisive action to tame the activities of bandits in the area.

The League expressed confidence in the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, to address the matter, while urging the people to be patient with the government as it works towards a lasting solution. They prayed for comfort, peace, and healing for all those impacted by the tragedy.
