Okun Traditional Rulers Advocate Negotiation and Dialogue for 2031 Governorship

Okun traditional rulers have suggested negotiation and dialogue as the best approach for the Okun governorship in 2031.

This decision was made at the Okun Unity and Peace Advocacy Parley, organized by the Okun League of Progressive Elites in Kabba.

The DG of the Okun League of Progressive Elites, Hon Alfred Bello urged Okun nation to embrace unity and peace in their pursuit of the governorship.

He referenced past instances of disunity, citing the losses of late Silas Daniyan and late Stephen Olorunfemi in Kogi governorship races.

Rtd ACG Ejibunu Kehinde suggested Ododo’s re-election is the best option, calling on politicians to be patient and tolerant.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including the Obaro of Kabba, Olujumu of Land, and Elulu of Mopa, among others.
