OLAMABORO AREA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL WELCOMES POWER ROTATION AS EJEH COMMENDS INITIATIVE, SUES FOR PEACE
The Power Rotation Advocacy and Campaign Team, led by Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, has continued its strategic engagement with traditional institutions across Kogi State, as the team paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Highness, Sir Ujah Sani Simeon (Agaaagu), the Ejeh of Olamaboro and Chairman, Olamaboro Area Traditional Council.
The royal father received the delegation with warmth and remarkable hospitality, expressing his appreciation for initiatives aimed at promoting peace, unity, equity and sustainable development across Kogi State.
During the engagement, His Royal Highness commended the advocacy for power rotation, describing the initiative as a meaningful and timely conversation that deserves constructive engagement and broad stakeholder participation.

The Ejeh of Olamaboro emphasized the importance of fairness, inclusiveness and mutual understanding in the political development of the state. He further sued for peace among political stakeholders, urging all concerned to embrace dialogue and peaceful approaches in addressing issues surrounding political representation and power-sharing.
The respected traditional ruler also made thoughtful, reasonable and invaluable contributions to the advocacy, offering perspectives that further enriched the objectives of the campaign and provided useful direction for the team’s ongoing stakeholder engagements.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi expressed profound appreciation to His Royal Highness for the warm reception, wisdom and invaluable counsel. He noted that the support and guidance of traditional institutions remain crucial to building consensus and fostering a peaceful and equitable political future for Kogi State.
The visit formed part of the team’s ongoing consultations with traditional rulers and other critical stakeholders across the state, with the objective of deepening understanding, promoting unity and advancing a peaceful conversation on equitable power rotation in Kogi State.
