Organizers of Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu Essay competition extends closing date for entry from 5th to 16th December

The organizers of Built Environment and Building Materials, (BEBM) exhibition has extended the closing date for entry for eligible participants on the 2024 edition of the Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu Essay competition, from 5th to 16th December, 2024.

According to the organizers, this is to allow for students to participate in the essay competition.

The competition on the topic “Reactivating the Ajaokuta Steel Company as a means to Reinvigorating the Nigeria Economy is powered by BEBM exhibition.

The organizers said the competition is it’s modest contribution in support of the Minister’s efforts towards the revival of Ajaokuta steel company for economic prosperity of the country.

The statement added that the various MoU already signed by the federal government led by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and facilitated by the Hon. Minister of Steel Development prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu, is a testament to the seriousness and determination of the present Administration to ensure that the steel plant becomes function

The statement added that all entries are now to be submitted within the deadline date of 16th December, 2024 as against the earlier date.

It stated further that the following conditions must also be followed. The easy must not be more than 300 words which must be typed in Microsoft word with double spacing and front 14 (Centaury Gothic).

To be qualified for the entry, all participating persons must be a registered student of any Tertiary Institution in Kogi State, must have attained the age of 16 years at the time of application, adding that all entries must be endorsed by the head of Institution of the applicant(s)

According to the organizers, prizes to be worn includes; N200,000 for the winner, N150,000 for the first runner up, N100,000 for the Second Runner up and consolation prizes of N10,000 each to ten participating students.
