“Osaseyi Commands the Grassroots” — Fanwo Hails Kogi Signage DG’s Mobilisation Strength as APC Primaries Energise Ijumu

The political atmosphere in Ijumu Local Government Area came alive on Monday as the Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, paid a surprise visit to the General Manager of the Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency, Hon. Richard Osaseyi, during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kogi West Senatorial District Primaries.

The visit, which sparked excitement among party faithful and youth supporters, underscored the growing momentum within the APC as the party intensifies strategic mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Fanwo applauded Hon. Richard Osaseyi for what he described as his “exceptional grassroots coordination capacity, political influence and unwavering loyalty to the progressive ideals of the APC.” He noted that the massive turnout of APC youths across Ijumu during the primaries was a clear reflection of Osaseyi’s deep connection with the people and his ability to galvanize support for the party at the ward and local government levels.

Fanwo emphasized that the APC in Kogi West remains united, focused and battle-ready for the next electoral cycle, stressing that the peaceful and enthusiastic participation of party members in the primaries demonstrated the strength and internal stability of the ruling party.

The Information Commissioner further stated that the APC leadership in Kogi State is committed to expanding its political dominance through aggressive voter mobilisation, youth engagement and consolidation of grassroots structures across the state.

According to him, discussions with Hon. Osaseyi centered on strengthening the party’s campaign architecture for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ensuring victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

In his remarks, Hon. Richard Osaseyi appreciated the Commissioner’s visit and reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining grassroots political engagement and mobilising young people in support of the APC’s developmental agenda.

He maintained that the unity currently being witnessed within the party would translate into overwhelming electoral victories for the APC across Kogi West and the state at large in 2027.
