Otu Ward APC Chairman Hon. Olorunsaiye Sunday (Regards) Celebrates Chief Femi Olugbemi at 50

By Akin Fanodun

As part of the outpouring of goodwill marking the golden jubilee of Chief Femi Olugbemi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Otu Ward Chairman, Hon. Olorunsaiye Sunday popularly known as Regards has extended his warmest congratulations and heartfelt salute to his long-time friend and political ally.

Describing Chief Olugbemi as “a brother in every sense,” Hon. Olorunsaiye emphasized the deep bond they share, likening their relationship to that of Siamese twins. Both leaders hail from the same political ward Otu Ward and have, for many years, stood side-by-side in the service of their people and party. Their friendship is rooted not only in shared origin but also in common values, goals, and vision for the development of their community.

Hon. Olorunsaiye noted that Chief Olugbemi’s 50th birthday is not only a personal milestone but also a celebration of steadfastness, mutual loyalty, and community progress. “Chief Olugbemi is a committed leader whose actions reflect the ideals of our party and the needs of our people,” he stated. “We have walked this path together through challenges and triumphs always with unity of purpose.”

The Chairman further lauded Chief Olugbemi’s contributions to the APC at the grassroots level, noting his pivotal role in mobilization, mentorship, and policy advocacy within the ward and beyond. He remarked that the celebrant has consistently demonstrated leadership qualities that inspire confidence and admiration among party members and constituents.

Their close working relationship is a testament to what is possible when political leadership is guided by shared vision, cooperation, and a sense of duty to community development. Hon. Olorunsaiye used the occasion to call for continued unity within the APC at all levels, encouraging younger politicians to learn from the camaraderie and dedication exemplified by both men.

As friends, allies, and community leaders, Hon. Olorunsaiye and Chief Olugbemi represent a model of political harmony and grassroots engagement that many regard as the foundation of lasting development.

With this jubilee celebration, Chief Femi Olugbemi is not just marking 50 years of life, but half a century of impactful living, defined by strong personal relationships and meaningful public service.
