PAAU REJOINDER: GRADUATE BEGRUDGE VARSITY OVER DISCREPANCIES

The Management of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba observed with dismay the publication by an unidentified online reporter alleging discrepancies on Kogi State University now Prince Abubakar Audu University Certificates.

We write to inform the general public that the publication is a product of ignorance of the University tradition.

1. Results are approved by the University Senate and certificates issued based on the date of Senate approval.

2. From our records, in 2023, the University received only eleven (11) applications for collection of certificates from the 2012 set of graduates and they were all issued based on Senate approval and carried the same date as contained on Statement of Results.

However, certificates forged may carry different date from the Senate approved dates.

The ideal channel of communication is for graduates to write to the University for explanation if there are issues about their records with the University instead of resorting to use of the Social Media.

The University Registrar’s office and contact are open at all times for inquiries.
