PDP 2026 National Convention: A Bold Reawakening of Unity, Strength, and Purpose
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has once again demonstrated its enduring strength and national relevance with the successful hosting of its 2026 National Convention, themed “A Convention of Inclusiveness, Unity and Renewal.” This historic gathering marks not just a routine political exercise, but a defining moment in the party’s journey toward rebirth and consolidation.
At a time when many doubted the resilience of the PDP, the convention stood as clear evidence that the party remains united, focused, and determined to reclaim its rightful place in Nigeria’s democratic space. From goodwill messages by party elders and stakeholders to critical motions, transparent elections, and the swearing-in of new National Working Committee (NWC) members, the convention reflected order, purpose, and internal democracy at its finest.

A major highlight was the powerful and thought-provoking address delivered by the National Leader, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
