PDP Stakeholders Endorse Abubakar Isah Lucky as Sole Candidate in Ankpa Federal Constituency

Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ankpa Federal Constituency have unanimously endorsed Engr. Abubakar Isah Lucky as the party’s sole candidate for the 2027 House of Representatives election.

The endorsement follows a series of consultations involving party leaders, grassroots mobilizers, and influential stakeholders across Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro local government areas, reflecting a rare moment of unity within the party.

The decision was formally unveiled at a gathering attended by party faithful, youth groups, and community leaders, where Engr. Abubakar Isah Lucky was presented as the consensus choice to lead the PDP into the 2027 polls.
Party executives from the three local governments jointly backed the move, citing his consistent grassroots engagement and contributions to youth empowerment, poverty alleviation, and education as reasons for his widespread acceptance.
Observers say the endorsement places him in a strong position ahead of the elections, noting that his influence extends beyond party lines into the daily lives of constituents.

Accepting the nomination, Engr. Abubakar Isah Lucky described the endorsement as both humbling and a call to greater service, assuring supporters that he would not take their trust for granted.

“This endorsement is not just political; it is a responsibility to serve our people with sincerity, fairness, and commitment,” he said, drawing applause from supporters.
He pledged to pursue inclusive representation, promising to prioritize infrastructure development, agricultural growth, job creation, and increased federal presence across the constituency.

“I am committed to building a constituency where every community matters, where our youths have opportunities, and where development is not selective but reaches every corner,” he added.

Engr. Abubakar Isah Lucky also called for unity among party members, urging them to remain focused and work collectively toward victory in 2027, while encouraging constituents to actively participate in the democratic process.
