PDP Will Recapture Ebonyi in 2027, Guber Candidate Vows

The Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi state has flagged off the 2027 campaigns for governorship, and National Assembly elections in the state, and further reiterated their commitments to recapture the state back to the PDP.
In his address, the PDP governorship candidate, Dr Ifeanyi Odii noted that his campaigns would be issued based devoid of violence and spilling bloods of any Ebonyi citizens.

He also announced the empowerment of 3,420 Ebonyi indigenes across the 171 political wards in the state.
According to Odii: “we have called this stakeholders meeting to prepare the ground for a formal commencement of our campaign for the governorship of the state. In doing this, we have resolved to empower 20 people per ward across the state. This will be followed by more empowerment at the polling unit level. The leaders of each ward will be directed on the procedure for the selection of the beneficiaries of this first batch.
“We are running this election together to rescue our state; therefore, there will be no room for the politics of hate, intimidation, harassment, or any form of assault. We will not throw a stone into a crowded market, as it may hit one of our own. However, we will never tolerate any form of state-sponsored hostility. We shall keep our eyes firmly on the ball, anchored by an absolute commitment to the rules of engagement”.
He added that his greatest strength lies in the fact that Ebonyi people are with the PDP and they were eager for change, growth, progress, and prosperity.
“At the very heart of this movement is a bold, transcendent calling to uplift our citizens. Our vision is to transform Ebonyi State into Nigeria’s foremost model of inclusive development: a globally competitive, industrialized, innovation-led, and investment-ready economy where accountable governance, world-class infrastructure, quality education, universal healthcare, productive agriculture, thriving enterprises, and social justice create shared prosperity and limitless opportunity for every citizen and community”.
“We are poised to restore hope, rebuild trust, and deliver results through honest, competent, and compassionate leadership. We will create jobs, grow businesses, industrialize our economy, modernize agriculture, empower women and young people, invest in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, guarantee security and justice, protect the most vulnerable, and ensure that every community across all thirteen Local Government Areas shares in the prosperity of a new Ebonyi State”, Odii assured.
In education, human capital development, and the knowledge economy, Odii promised to create a symbol of freedom by providing free and compulsory education from primary through secondary school.
“As you are all aware, agriculture is the largest employer of labour and the foundation of our household economy. Through our integrated framework, we are shifting from subsistence farming to a modern agribusiness-driven economy, establishing Farmer Income Stabilization and Social Safety-Net Schemes to protect our farmers against floods, price collapses, and bad seasons. We will construct agro-processing plants and a flagship Agro-Industrial Park for rice, cassava, yam, and other priority commodities to retain value and jobs within Ebonyi State”.
Ebonyi PDP Guber Candidate also assured that he would expand equitable, affordable healthcare across all LGAs so that no family is ever one illness away from poverty.
