HRH Marie Ige was much more than a queen by title; she was a guiding light whose grace, wisdom, and unwavering support were instrumental in helping you achieve the esteemed legacy of Obaro of Kabba. Her counsel and benevolent presence reinforced the cultural fabric of our community. She demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to upholding tradition, fostering unity, and advocating for the welfare of our people.
Her tireless efforts in promoting community development and nurturing our heritage laid the groundwork for many of your successes. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her luminous legacy and the indelible mark she left on our hearts and history will continue to inspire and guide us.
May her memory bring solace in this time of mourning and forever remind us of the power of compassionate leadership and unity.
