Plateau Central Senatorial District. Gotom Tenders Enough documents to prove Case

The Senatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic party ( PDP) of the Plateau Central Senatorial District.

Golkuna Yohana Gotom is Challenging the Victory of Senator Diket Plang Satso and All Progressives Congress (APC ) in the Petition No. EPT/PL/SEN/06/2023.

The matter came up for hearing Counsel to the Petitioners Beson A. Igbanoi ESQ

Adopted the second Schedule of documents to be relied upon by the Petitioners to prove their case and the list of the documents include.

The BVAS report for Plateau Central Senatorial District, INEC Receipt of payment no. 080995, dated 02-5-2023.

For BVAS report.

Comprehensive report of Repeated congress of the Peoples Democratic party.

INEC Receipt of payment No . 000596. For Certified True Copy of Comprehensive report of Congress of Peoples Democratic party Forms EC8D(1)EC8E(1) EC9 which are the local government results and the result sheet of the Senatorial District as well as nominations form.

Other documents that were also tendered include the Judgment of the Federal High Court in suit no. FHC/J/CS/64/2022. Augustine TimkuV. INEC and 6 others.

Judgement in suit Appeal no. CA/J//300//2022. Augustine Timku V INEC and 6 others.

The Petitioners are equally challenging the Polling unit results and tendered forms EC8A (1) of Ungwan Hausawa code 003 under Jarmai registration area of Kanam LGA.

Swamwarga 008.Dohol 020,Dungur 014 under Garga Ward Mulas Sabon Gida 006 in Jarmai ward Kanam LGA.

Other results being challenged without stamp are those of Namaran Primary school 1 code 001,Namaran Primary school 2 code 002, Kum Kum Nomadic 011,Kass 003,Gwamlar Primary school 021,Ungwan Sarkin Yanma 003,Pyemgiji 002,Mbat Ungwan Hakimi Primary school 005,Bwalangyip 009,Yamini Kasuwa 023.

Also tendered were polling unit results with over voting.

Dogon Ruwa 006,Furyam Primary school code 002 and many more all in Kanam LGA,the Petitioners tendered the documents amid objections by all the respondents and reserved their arguments to their final written addresses.

The Petitioners informed the court that they will be able to call their witnesses in the next adjourned date.

The case was adjourned to 6 of September 2023.
