Queen Otitolaiye Afolashade Precious Emerges Miss Okun 2024

Iyara, Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State – The prestigious Miss Okun Beauty Pageant 2024 has come to a close, crowning Queen Otitolaiye Afolashade Precious, an accounting student from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, as the new Miss Okun 2024. The event, held on 28 Dec 2024 in Egbe Yagba West local government Area,Kogi State,was organized by the National Association of Okun Students (NAOS) under the leadership of President Comrade Omolara Emmanuella Omoniyi.

The keenly contested pageant showcased creativity, intellectual activities, and cultural displays, highlighting the rich heritage of Okun land. The competition featured talented contestants from various local government areas, with Queen Otitolaiye emerging victorious.

Dignitaries in attendance included prominent figures from Okun’s social and political spheres, demonstrating their support for the event’s mission to promote Okun culture, norms, and values.

“We are proud to have Queen Otitolaiye Afolashade Precious represent Okun land,” said Comrade Omolara Emmanuella Omoniyi, NAOS President. “Her emergence symbolizes hope, resilience, and determination, inspiring young Okun women to strive for excellence.”

Queen Otitolaiye, currently Miss Ijumu, has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, academic excellence, and community involvement. Her win reinforces the pageant’s objective to empower women and promote Okun’s rich cultural heritage.

The Miss Okun Beauty Pageant 2024 has set a new standard for cultural events in Okun land, fostering unity, creativity, and intellectual growth among participants and attendees.
