Ralph Arokoyo Foundation and Marktot Oil and Gas Give Back to Community: Empower Okada Riders with Reflective Jackets and Free PMS
Kabba, Kogi State – The Ralph Arokoyo Foundation, in partnership with Marktot Oil and Gas, has donated reflective jackets and fuel worth millions of naira to over 500 okada riders in Kabba Metropolis, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Speaking at the event, MD/CEO Dr. Raphael Arokoyo said the donation is part of the foundation and company’s corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at promoting road safety and supporting the livelihoods of the riders.
He emphasized that the gesture wasn’t politically motivated, but rather aimed at assisting the riders, critical partners who patronize their fueling stations in Kabba Metropolis.
Dr. Arokoyo noted that the foundation is committed to empowering the community and supporting government efforts.
He said the gesture is part of ongoing initiatives to give back to society, recognizing okada riders as an integral part of the community.
The okada riders’ association executives expressed gratitude, describing the donation as unique and unprecedented.
The foundation’s gesture has been well-received by the community, seen as a challenge to do more.
