Re- Kabba-Bunu LG CTC, Hon. Dare Zaccheaus Mourns Late Tope Ayodele

In the last 72 hours, the social media space has been littered with various condolence messages as regards the untimely and unfortunate passage of Asuta Ward APC Organizing Secretary, Late Tope Ayodele on Sunday, 16th June 2024.

The messages from the APC Stakeholders are expected considering the fact that Late Tope Ayodele was a loyal party faithful while alive.

But the one emanating from the office of Kabba-Bunu LG Caretaker Chairman is somewhat baffling and irreconcilable.

Why

Immediately after the unfortunate accident, a phone call was put through to the CTC to sought for the approval & usage of the LG Ambulance, in which necessary payment will be made.

Unfortunately, the APC stalwart & frontline Chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Segun Arokoyo, who incidentally is the Boss to the now deceased Tope waited for several hours with no practical response from the CTC.

In the space of 7:45 am to 11:40am, no response from the CTC. When he eventually sent his DLG number, it was around 12pm. Lo & behold, the number wasn’t connecting.

Considering the fatality of the accident, more than a week while “the forthright and committed APC member” was recuperating in the hospital, no single call nor message from the CTC to ascertain the deceased health challenge.

While alive, there was no sympathy nor support from the CTC! Now, why the sudden affection for the dead!?

We are not out to castigate, denigrate nor bring down the personality of the CTC, but we strongly advise that, next time, when such a thing recur (God forbid), it is better to maintain a sturdied silence rather than going to the Press.

Being proactive is the essence of good leadership rather than being reactive. It is too late crying over a split milk!

May the soul of our beloved brother, Late Tope Ayodele’s gentle soul continue to rest in eternal peace with His Creator in Heaven, iJn, amen!

Arokoyo Eniola for the family
