Rep Leke Abejide Celebrates Governor Usman Ododo’s One -Year Anniversary, Lauds Achievements
The member representing Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Customs & Excise, Hon. Leke Abejide has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Usman Ododo on his first year anniversary in office. The lawmaker, in a statement by his media office, lauded the administration’s notable accomplishments across various sectors of the state.
Hon. Abejide praised Governor Ododo for his unwavering dedication, vision, and landmark achievements in one year. He highlighted the Governor’s significant contributions to security, education, agriculture, workers’ welfare, and infrastructure.
“Alhaji Usman Ododo’s effort to enhance security has made Kogi State safer, earning widespread approval from residents. His administration’s strides in the education sector have substantially reduced the number of out-of-school children, ensuring a brighter future for the state’s youth.

Rep. Leke Abejide commended the Governor’s performance in Agriculture, noting that his initiatives have boosted the state’s agrarian economy and created numerous business opportunities. Additionally, his commitment to the welfare of state workers has fostered a harmonious working environment, contributing to overall productivity.
The standout feature of Governor Ododo’s tenure, he noted, is his focus on infrastructural development.
