SAMUEL OJ TEMIBI BAGS ‘YOUTH OF THE YEAR’ AWARD 2026 IN EKINRIN-ADDE
Samuel OJ Temibi has been honored with the Youth of the Year Award by the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association, EACDA, in recognition of his contributions to the growth and unity of the community.
The award was presented to him on Saturday, June 27, during the 2026 Ekinrin-Adde Day Cultural Festival, a yearly celebration that brings indigenes together to showcase culture and promote development.
In his appreciation message, Temibi described the recognition as both a privilege and a responsibility.
He said the award would inspire him to continue promoting the values, unity, culture, and development of Ekinrin-Adde with renewed commitment.
“This is indeed both a privilege and a responsibility that will inspire me to continue to promote the values, unity, culture, and development of our beloved community with a renewed commitment,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude to EACDA and his mentor for finding him worthy of the award and for their mentorship and support.
The Ekinrin-Adde Day Cultural Festival annually highlights the heritage of the community while honoring individuals and groups that have contributed meaningfully to its progress.
