Sen. Karimi to Build 1,000 seaters Capacity Lecture Hall in Isanlu Center of National Open University,

The Red Chamber member representing Kogi West and Chairman of Senate Services, Sunday Steve Karimi, has facilitated the construction of a 1,000 seaters capacity lecture hall in the National Open University, Isanlu Center, Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, to provide a conducive learning environment for students of the institution in the center.

This was disclosed via a letter signed by the Registrar of the institution, Oladipo A. Ajayi addressed to the senator appreciating his efforts in facilitating the project to the center through Border Communities Development Agency, Abuja, stressing that the management expressed their sincere gratitude for his commitment to enhancing educational facilities and creating opportunities for the citizens of Nigeria.

He noted that the Vice Chancellor of the institution appreciates his willingness to undertake the building of a befitting hall for the Isanlu community study center.

He further acknowledged his acts of benevolence and dedication to improving the infrastructure of the Isanlu Community Study Center, which aligns with the mission of the institution to provide quality education and contribute positively to the community it serves.

Meanwhile, a member of the community, Alh Issa Ismaila, commended Senator Sunday Karimi for his quality representation and pointed out that his 18-month tenure has showcased commitment and dedication to the prosperity of Kogi West, delivering quality legislative representation and community development projects initiatives.

He further noted that the senator has become an agent who is championing progressive education legislation, empowering youths through education initiatives and community engagement, and supporting local entrepreneurs since he came on board in 2023
