Sen. Sunday Karimi Launches Duro Meseko’s Book, Donates ₦10m at 60th Birthday
ABUJA, Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West, launched the new book by Hon. Duro Meseko, _Durosinmi Meseko: An Odyssey through the Media, Activism and Leadership_, with a donation of ₦10 million.
The book launch was part of activities marking Hon. Meseko’s 60th birthday celebration held in Abuja. Dignitaries, political leaders, and well-wishers from across Nigeria attended the event.
Sen. Karimi, who served as Special Guest, described Hon. Meseko as his brother and friend, and noted that the book is a valuable contribution to Nigeria’s political and leadership literature.

He commended Hon. Meseko for his service to the APC and the country, saying the memoir will inspire younger politicians and activists.
The book documents Hon. Meseko’s political journey, his experiences in party administration as former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, and his perspectives on nation-building.
Hon. Meseko, who also chairs the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), expressed gratitude to Sen. Karimi and other donors for their support, pledging to continue contributing to public discourse and national development.
The event ended with goodwill messages and tributes to the celebrant.
