May you find strength and comfort as you navigate these trying circumstances,” he said.
While acknowledging the need for military operations to combat the growing threats posed by groups like Lakurawa and armed bandits, Tambuwal emphasized the importance of ensuring such operations are conducted with precision and accountability. “The loss of civilian lives during operations intended to protect us is unacceptable and must be thoroughly investigated,” he declared.

Senator Tambuwal also stressed the need for military and security stakeholders to prioritize the safety of civilians and implement robust measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He concluded by praying for the departed souls to rest in peace and for the swift recovery of the injured, stating, “May the souls of the departed find eternal rest, and may the injured recover swiftly.”
