Senator Sunday Karimi Mourns the Passing of Hajia Alfa Rakiya Usman (Hajia London)

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajia Alfa Rakiya Usman, fondly known as Hajia London.
In his heartfelt condolence message, Senator Karimi described Hajia London as a compassionate, generous, and accommodating woman who was a mother figure and friend to many within and beyond the Kabba (Oweland) community. According to the Senator, she was a living symbol of care, unity, and selfless service—someone whose presence brought comfort and encouragement to those around her.
“Hajia Rakiya Usman was not just a friend to the people—she was a sister, a mother, and a strong pillar in the community. Her warm spirit, kindness, and willingness to support others will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and unity will live on,” Senator Karimi stated.
He extended his condolences to the immediate family, her children, and the entire Oweland, urging them to find solace in the impactful and exemplary life she led.
“On behalf of the good people of Kogi West, I pray that Almighty Allah grants her eternal rest and gives the family the strength to bear this great loss.”
Hajia Rakiya Usman’s passing marks the end of a chapter in the lives of many who drew inspiration from her life of service and compassion.
