Senator Sunday Karimi Support Farmers in Kogi West with 2400 bags of NPK and Urea Fertilizers

As part of efforts to increase farm produce towards ensuring food security and reduce hunger in the country, the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator Sunday Karimi has made available 2400 bags of NPK and Urea fertilizers for distribution to farmers across the seven local government areas that make up the district.

The fertilizers have since been delivered to various local government areas for distribution to beneficiary farmers to assist them to boost their harvest as soon as rainfall returns after the August break.

Senator Karimi has continued to assure the people of his commitment to grassroots development, stressing that the NPK Urea fertilizer distribution is part of several initiatives to ameliorate the suffering of the people and provide qualitative representation.

He said the N100m bursary award for the students and 100m women cooperative societies support programs are on course to empower the people, stressing that the training sessions for women’s cooperative groups have since been done in the three federal constituencies.
