Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Commits N300 Million Bursary Awards to Students Across Kogi State

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi has announced a significant bursary award initiative aimed at supporting students from all three senatorial districts in Kogi State. This year’s bursary scheme totals N300 million, reinforcing his dedication to education and youth empowerment.
Last year, Senator Karimi awarded N100 million bursaries to students in Kogi West. Building on this momentum, he has pledged additional funds to cover all students in the state equitably in 2025. The bursary breakdown is as follows:
Kogi East: 96 wards will benefit from N100 million in bursary awards.
Kogi Central: 57 wards will receive N61 million.
Kogi West: N139 million will be allocated, under the auspices of the Tinubu Support Group and the Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Students Bursary Award 2025.
The total bursary fund amounts to N300 million, which has already commenced disbursement.
Senator Karimi emphasized, “My bond of service to the people remains intact and unchanged. Investing in education is investing in the future of Kogi State.”
This bursary initiative reflects Senator Karimi’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational opportunities for youths across Kogi State and ensuring that deserving students receive financial support to pursue their academic goals.
