Sunday Steven Karimi Progressive Movement Disowns Fake Endorsement in Kogi West, Reaffirms Support for Senator Karimi
The Sunday Steven Karimi Progressive Movement has disowned a purported endorsement currently circulating in Kogi West, describing it as fake and unauthorized.
In a press statement issued on behalf of the group, Coordinator Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi said the movement’s attention was drawn to the endorsement, which falsely claimed support for another aspirant in the senatorial district.
“We wish to state clearly that no such endorsement was authorized, and our stakeholders were not consulted,” Abdullahi said. “We disassociate ourselves entirely from this false claim.”
He urged the people of Kogi West to disregard any endorsement or campaign for any aspirant other than the group’s political leader, Distinguished Senator Sunday Steven Karimi.
“Kogi West knows only one tested and trusted leader — a man who works day and night to improve security, education, and empowerment across the senatorial district,” Abdullahi stated. “Senator Karimi’s record of scholarships, infrastructure, and parliamentary service speaks for itself.”
The coordinator warned that any endorsement in Kogi West outside of Senator Karimi should be considered fake and ignored. He added that the movement would continue to stand firmly behind the senator.
Abdullahi also called on the public to be vigilant against fake news and political mischief aimed at misleading voters, saying Kogi West remains united behind Senator Sunday Steven Karimi.
The statement was signed by Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi, Coordinator of the Sunday Steven Karimi Progressive Movement, also known as the “White Lion” group.
