Supporters and Appointees Urged to Stop Fueling Division Between Gov. Ododo, Sen. Karimi, and Former Gov. Yahaya Bello
By Akin Fanodun – Kabba
The attention of concerned stakeholders and progressive-minded supporters within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to the unnecessary attempts by some individuals to create division and political confusion among the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, and former Governor Yahaya Bello.
It is important to clearly state that these respected leaders remain members of the same APC family, working towards the continuous progress, unity, and development of Kogi State and Nigeria at large. Therefore, supporters, political appointees, and opportunists who are trying to pitch one leader against another for personal gain and selfish political survival should immediately desist from such acts capable of causing unnecessary tension within the party.
Politics should not be turned into a battlefield simply because of personal interests or “what to eat.” The APC in Kogi State has grown beyond individual sentiments, and all stakeholders must understand that unity, cooperation, and mutual respect remain the only path to sustainable political success.
Without mincing words, Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi remains one of the strongest political pillars in Kogi West Senatorial District. His connection with the grassroots, political experience, and growing acceptance among the masses and electorate make him a valuable asset to the success of both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo ahead of future elections.
It is also on record that Senator Karimi has consistently demonstrated loyalty, maturity, and readiness to work harmoniously with Governor Ododo for the overall interest of the party and the development of Kogi State. This political understanding and cooperation should be encouraged rather than sabotaged by desperate individuals seeking relevance through division and propaganda.
Governor Ododo must also understand that with the genuine support and political structure of Senator Sunday Steve Karimi across Kogi West, the task of securing reelection victory for both President Tinubu and Governor Ododo would become easier and more peaceful without unnecessary political stress.
Those attempting to create camps and fuel confusion between these APC leaders must be warned once again to stop such divisive actions. The people of Kogi State, especially the masses and electorate, are watching closely and are more interested in good governance, unity, and collective progress than selfish political drama.
It is important to note that beyond political appointees and office holders, the ordinary people across Kogi West continue to stand firmly with Senator Sunday Steve Karimi while also supporting the reelection and continued success of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
At this crucial moment, all APC faithful must embrace peace, unity, loyalty, and cooperation for the collective success of the party and the betterment of Kogi State.
