Supreme Court Verdict: Kabba-Bunu APC Chairman, Comrade Solomon Congratulates Governor Ododo Usman
Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress in Kabba-Bunu local government area, Comrade Solomon Jemibawondo has congratulated His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the apex court.
In a message signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, describing the victory as the affirmation of the will of the people.
He said the Supreme Court judgment shows that sectional sentiments do not prevail over factual facts and genuine truth that holds dear the people’s trust, stressing that the outcome of the judgment was about the collective interest and good of the people of Kogi state, rather than opposition personal interests.
The chairman emphasised the need for unity and cooperation in moving the state forward, adding that the apex court’s decision is only but a proof to the democratic process and the rule of law.
He enjoined Kogites, especially the opposition camps to put aside their differences, and join hands to build Kogi state to a greater height.
“The time for politics is over, it’s time to unite and work together for the common good of our dear state.”
