“Take E-Registration Exercise Seriously”: Hon Wemi Jones Urges APC Kabba/Bunu LGA Members To Embrace e-registration
The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, on Tuesday, with political leaders of the local government called on members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Kabba/Bunu LGA to actively participate in the party’s ongoing electronic registration exercise, describing it as a critical requirement for genuine party membership.
The Kogi State Commissioner of Education, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, made the call on behalf of Kabba/Bunu LGA leaders and stakeholders in Kabba today. He described the APC e-registration, which is ongoing across the country, as a civic responsibility and a key requirement for genuine party membership in Kabba/Bunu LGA.
Wemi, also encouraged young people to take advantage of the ongoing APC e-registration exercise to formally identify with the ruling party.
According to a statement issued by the chairman Chief Press Secretary, Omofa John, Zacchaeus noted that the exercise is open, free, and straightforward.
He said the exercise, scheduled to run throughout January, is aimed at encouraging all existing and new APC members to formally validate their membership through the digital platform.
Zacchaeus disclosed that the APC e-registration requires members to provide their National Identification Number for verification, after which personal details are confirmed, adding that successful registrants are issued a printed temporary membership slip upon completion.
“The APC e-registration exercise is what will validate and confirm that you are a card-carrying member of our party. Every party member who truly wants to be called a member of the APC should take it seriously.
“This is the minimum you need to show sincerity and commitment to the party. Nobody is asking for anything—just come, register and collect your slip,” he said.
The chairman therefore urged party members to create time to carry out the exercise, which, according to him, takes only five to ten minutes once the required details are provided.
“The digital nature of this exercise reflects the APC’s commitment to modernisation and transparency, while strengthening its membership database ahead of future engagements,” he added.
