The Legends Club of Okun congratulates Mrs Afolasade Mujidat Tinubu-Ojo on her well deserved honor as the Aare Oja of Okunland
The Legends Club of Okun, has joined numerous associates and well wishers to congratulate the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Chief (Dr.) Afolasade Mujidat Tinubu-Ojo on her installation as the Aare Oja of Okunland by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council over the weekend.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the President of the club, Engr. Femi Olubiyo and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, saying the conferment wouldn’t have come at a better time than now.
According to the statement, they commended the traditional institution of Okun nation for a well thought initiative that will enhance the relationship of the zone with prominent personalities across the globe, stressing that the singular act will further fast track rapid development of the area.
They also eulogized Governor Yahaya Bello for taking out his time despite his tight schedule to grace the occasion in Kabba, adding that he has shown love and respect to the first family in the country.
They described the newly installed Aare Ojo of Okunland as a goal getter, hard-working person that is humility personified that despite her status in the society still relate with people of different pedigree which has enable the reforms of the administration of market associations in Lagos which is expected in Okunland in no distance time.
