Yuletide Season: Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Distributes Christmas/New Year Palliatives to Kabba/Bunu LGA

In the spirit of the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Distinguished Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, has distributed relief palliatives to the people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, reaffirming his commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of his constituents.

The distribution exercise recorded the sharing of over 500 bags of 50kg rice to beneficiaries across Kabba/Bunu Local Government. The initiative was aimed at easing the economic burden on residents during the festive season and ensuring that families celebrate the season with joy, hope, and dignity.

Notably, the palliative distribution was all-inclusive, covering all the 15 wards in the local government. Beneficiaries cut across political leaders, community stakeholders, elders, party loyalists, traditional institution representatives, as well as people of different religious faiths, underscoring Senator Karimi’s belief in unity, equity, and inclusive governance.

Speaking through his representatives, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi stated that the gesture was motivated by his passion for service and his desire to remain closely connected with the grassroots. He emphasized that true leadership is defined by compassion, responsiveness, and a constant commitment to the people, especially during significant periods such as the festive season.

The people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government expressed deep appreciation to the Senator for the timely and impactful intervention. Many described the initiative as a reflection of purposeful representation and people-oriented leadership.

Prayers were offered for God’s continued protection, sound health, wisdom, and strength for Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, with residents expressing confidence that he will continue to deliver quality representation and meaningful dividends of democracy to Kabba/Bunu Local Government and Kogi West at large.

The Yuletide palliative distribution once again highlights Senator Karimi’s dedication to compassionate leadership, unity across communities, and sustainable engagement with the people he represents.
