2027 Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu: Chief (Dr) Femi Olubiyo Throws Hat into Federal House of Representatives Ring

Chief (Dr) Femi Olubiyo, the President, Legend Club of Okunland and community development enthusiast, a prominent figure in local politics, has announced his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives seat to represent Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly come 2027.

In a statement made available to friends and supporters, Olubiyo revealed that his decision was made after much contemplation and consultations with stakeholders. He expressed his desire to contribute meaningfully to the development of his people and sought the guidance, blessings, and support of his friends and colleagues.

The announcement, made on New Year’s Day, reads: “Good morning my dear friend and brother, and Happy New Year. I hope this message meets you well in health and peace. Before our physical meeting, I feel it is important to personally inform you that I will be contesting for the Federal House of Representatives to represent our constituency… Your guidance, blessings, and support mean a lot to me, and I look forward to sharing more details when we meet.”

Olubiyo, who holds a doctorate degree and the title of Chief, emphasized his commitment to serving his people and expressed optimism about his chances of emerging victorious in the upcoming elections.

Further details of his campaign plans and manifesto are expected to be unveiled soon.
