ACCDA Jos North Inaugurate New officials.
It was Celebration galore as well as speech making event at the Izere Arena Gwafan(Lamingo) in Jos North Local Government of Plateau State,as the Izere People of the Locality rolled out their drums and other cultural artifacts to showcase their unique,rich and revered culture as they inaugurated newly Elected EXCOs of the Afizere Cultural and Community Development Association (ACCDA) to pilot the affairs of the Association for three years tenure.
In his valedictory speech,the immediate past Chairman,Mr. Michael Izang KSM thank God Almighty and the Entire Izere people for the support given to him and his EXCO, said there is time for everything.
According to him,Jos North Local Government is a miniature Nigeria hence,any leadership position or responsibility assigned to you,it will not be easy.

We started very rough and the going was not easy.
Upon assumption of office,we met two tough issues on ground.
The first one was the issue of litigations we met on ground and we were on the verge of loosing our identity as a nation,but we were able to restore it and today our second class status and nine District has been restored under Jos Izere Chiefdom.
The Second problem we met was the covid -19 Pandemic that ravages the entire globe and Government put restrictions on public gatherings,all impede our activities for almost two years.
Good will messages came from the ACCDA National President,Engineer Yakubu Ashom. He described Jos North as a mega branch at the National level as a result of it’s uniqueness.
He charged the newly Sworn in officials to discharge their duties deligently and said Izere unity is paramount and not negotiable.
Engineer Ashom also stated that, Jos, the Capital of Plateau state was first known Internationally via Izere people,he equally appeals to the Izere people both at home and in the diaspora to maintained the Izere unique Dances.
Also speaking,the Hon. Member representing Jos North West in the state House of Assembly, Danjuma Azi, reiterates his Commitment and absolute loyalty to the Izere Nation,he inform the gathering on his achievements since assumption of office in June, said he has sponsored several motions that have already impacted on his constituents and beyond,he solicited for support from all and sundry .
The Hon. Commissioner for Youth and sports Development,Bashir Lawandi Datti,said he is proud of Izere Nation,Izere is my second home,the peaceful nature of Izere people need to be emulate by all and sundry.
The Ocassion was chaired by Hon. Luka Madaki,former ACCDA National President and fomer Commissioner for Housing,charged the new leadership to be selfles and work closely with the traditional Rulers.
The Newly sworn in Chairman,Mr. Samuel Chiroma seek for unity and cooperation from all the Izere people in Jos North and beyond to enable them succeed.
The Asharwa Dancers from Nukpis thrilled the dignitaries at the event.
The Royal blessings came from His Royal Highness,Adagwom Jos Izere Chiefdom,Ada Emmanuel Ajik(JP) who was represented by the District Head of Tudun Wada Adagwom Peter Nyam and Izere Elders.
