All Progressive Congress (APC) Ibaji chapter held a successful get-together for party members.
The event which was attended by prominent prominent party members have in attendance, The Deputy Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, the Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security,Hon Timothy Ojoma, the Ibaji Local Government APC party chairman,Hon Thankgod Omale, the SA to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Special Duty II,Hon Thomas Offor, the TC chairman of Ibaji Local Government Area,Hon Emmanuel Ugeh, political appointees,both present and past, critical stakeholders amongst others.
Also present at the occasion as a special guest of honor was Chief Hon Friday Idachaba, APC leader in Idah and Kogi State.
The local Government APC party chairman,Hon Thankgod Omale, organized the get-together to strengthen the party and showcase the achievement of H.E Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. He assured the party members that their hard work will be rewarded and that the Governor is committed to the welfare of all Kogites.
The Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Comfort Nwuchiola Egwaba while speaking, commended the party leadership in Ibaji for their dedication and assured the people of representation in the state. She highlighted the efforts of the state and local Government officials in bringing dividends of democracy closer to the people of Ibaji. She also used the opportunity to thank the former governor of Kogi State H.E Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the present governor H.E Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for their support so far in women inclusiveness.

Hon Timothy Ojoma, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security,charged party members to remain dedicated, emphasizing that the government is determined to develop Ibaji Local Government. He urged them to ignore every form of distraction and remain committed to the party’s vision.
The special guest of honor, Chief Hon Friday Idachaba, during his speech made appeal for reconciliation and unity among party members urging the acceptance of returning members who worked against the party in the last election. He also appealed to traditional rulers to shun writing of petition against themselves.
In a vote of thanks, the TC chairman of Ibaji Local Government Area, Hon Emmanuel Ugeh, thanked everyone who made the occasion a success. He equally urged all Ibaji sons and daughters to be law abiding, stressing that anyone who goes against the law will be brought to book.
Highlight of the occasion was decamping of large number persons from other party to APC from Akpanyo ward in Ibaji Local Government Area.
The event was a testament to the unity and strength of APC in Ibaji LGA.
Party members reaffirmed their support for the government and their leaders.
