Bridging Divides with Compassion: Hon. Wemi Jones Distributes Food and Cash to Constituents in Kabba/Bunu LGA

The Hon. Commissioner for Education in Kogi State, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, made a remarkable gesture as he distributed food items and cash to constituents in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area. The heartwarming event took place at the Commissioner’s residence in Ayede Bunu and saw a large turnout of dignitaries from various communities.

The Commissioner, in a show of solidarity and empathy, ensured that the distribution of food items and cash was done without discrimination. Hon. Wemi Jones stressed the importance of unity and togetherness in times of need, encouraging the recipients to share the palliative with a spirit of communal support and cooperation.

Among the notable personalities present at the event were Hon. Bode Adeyemi, Special Adviser on Energy, the Chairman of the APC in Kabba/Bunu LGA, Solomon Jemibawondo, as well as all APC Ward Chairmen in the area. Representatives from the Tiv, Igbo, Hausa, and Ebira communities were also in attendance, highlighting the inclusive nature of the Commissioner’s outreach.
