APC Conference of Speakers, Blessing to Nigeria – Kogi Assembly Speaker

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has described the Conference of APC Speakers of Assemblies in Nigeria as a blessing to the government of the country and their various states.
He stated this in a statement signed and made available to journalists by his Chief Press Secretary, Yabagi Mohammed, shortly after a meeting held by the Speakers’Conference in Abuja on Friday.
Rt. Hon Aliyu noted that the group is ready to work closely with the President Bola Tinubu led government to bring dividends of democracy to Nigerians, and with their state Governors for the good of citizens of such states.
He said just few months into his administration, President Tinubu has made a lot of headways in revamping Nigeria’s economy, stressing that the conference would continue to work closely with the government to make life easier for the people.
The Kogi Assembly Speaker particularly reserved a special praise for the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the continued support being enjoyed by the legislature, noting that it has gone a long way to ensuring a smooth working relationship with the executive arm.
Speakers that were present at the meeting all applauded their Kogi counterpart for being a big asset for them, and acknowledged their resolve to work closely for the good of their various states.
While calling for support for the APC led administration in the state, the speaker reiterated the commitment to party faithful and the people of the state to ensure landslide victory for the party in the November 11 gubernatorial election.
