APC Deputy Spokesman Durosinmi Meseko congratulates CG Olumode Samuel Adeyemi on his decoration and taking office as the New Head of the Federal Fire Service.
Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the Deputy National Spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended his congratulations to Comptroller General (CG) Olumode Samuel Adeyemi on his official decoration and assumption of duty as the new head of the Federal Fire Service.
CG Adeyemi’s decoration ceremony, which took place at the Ministry of Interior headquarters in Abuja, was led by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, including the representative of the Kogi State Governor, Hon. Wemi Jones; Kogi Finance Commissioner, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris; Hon. Olabode Adeyemi; Hon. Sunday Faleke; and Dr. Helen Adeniyi.
The ceremony also saw the presence of traditional rulers, former Comptrollers General of the Federal Fire Service, and political leaders.
During the change of flag parade, CG Adeyemi expressed his gratitude and committed to elevating the Federal Fire Service.
He pledged to improve both service delivery and the welfare of his personnel.
He also called for prayers, cooperation, and support from the public, and made a plea for an end to the attacks on firefighters.
