APC Kabba-Bunu Campaign Council Commences Ward to Ward Tour, Says Ododo will consolidate Governor Bello’s achievements in education, rural development.
Ahead of the November 11, Governorship election in Kogi State, the governing All Progressives Congress Campaign Council led by Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi in Kabba-Bunu local government area have commenced its ward-to-ward tour and have toured the nine wards in the Kabba district to galvanize voters in favour of the governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
The ward tour which commenced at Okekoko and ended in Otu ward in Kabba district had all the party stakeholders in attendance to preach the message of Renewed Hope to the electorate and assured them of better days ahead when they vote for the party to win next Saturday’s election in the local government.
Speakers at various wards visited expressed their optimism that the APC administration will consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello, especially in the areas of education, rural infrastructure, health sector, prompt payment of monthly salaries and emoluments to workers at various levels etc.
According to them, the local government have gotten its fair share of the developmental projects of the administration hence the need to return the party to continue the good works, pointing out that the establishment of the Kogi State University, Kabba, the Model Science Secondary School, Okebukun, Kabba township roads, grading and upgrading of traditional stools, being the highest in the state are more than enough reasons to vote en-masse for the APC, as that is the only way the citadel of learning and other projects will stand the test of time.
They emphasized the need for the people to be wary of the opposition parties as Kathe no experience is still very fresh, wherein all projects executed by the out-gone party were deliberately destroyed to score cheap political points. For all the projects executed in the area and the entire state to be enduring, it is important to vote for the prosperity of the state.
They noted that the free Education Policy of the administration will continue with the incoming government of Alhaji Ododo Usman, pointing out that the state government has paid the current SS3 students WAEC registration fees across the state, added that the new direction administration has taken the burden off the parents, an initiative that has been applauded.
They said the people should not fall for the lies of the opposition parties, alleging that President Bola Tinubu is not supporting his party candidate, stressing that the president is a party person who loves his party and would give all necessary support to the party to coast to victory. They pointed out that it would be a disservice for Kogites to vote for other parties considering the expectations of the state from the national government.
