APC Yagba East Endorses, Hon Emmanuel Obaro for Second Term
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi has endorsed Hon. Emmanuel Obaro, the lawmaker representing Yagba East Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, as its consensus candidate for the 2027 election.
The endorsement was made during inauguration of the newly elected party leadership at all levels in the local government.
Speaking during the inauguration, the newly inaugurated APC Chairman in Yagba East, Hon. Olusegun Abdulrazaq, moved a motion for the endorsement of Obaro for a second term in office.

Abdulrazaq said the lawmaker had demonstrated commitment to the development of the constituency through effective representation and grassroots engagement.
According to him, the party leadership and stakeholders in the local government considered Obaro’s performance worthy of continuity.
The motion was unanimously seconded and adopted by various structures of the party in the local government, including ward executives, party elders and other stakeholders present at the meeting.
They expressed confidence in Obaro’s leadership and pledged to mobilise support for his re-election in 2027.
Responding, Obaro appreciated the party leadership and members for the confidence reposed in him.
He assured them of his continued commitment to quality representation and the development of Yagba East Constituency.
The lawmaker also called for sustained unity within the party, noting that collective efforts were essential to securing victory for the APC in future elections.
