APC Youth Coalition Removes Two Leaders in Kano Over Alleged Disloyalty.

By Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu
24th December 2025.

The Coalition of APC Youth Groups in Kano State has announced the removal of two of its top leaders, Nasiru Bala Aminu Ja’oji and Adamu Mukhtar Unguwar Gini, from their leadership positions.

The decision, according to the group, was taken to protect unity, discipline, and the political direction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State.

In an official statement issued on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, by Musaddiq Wada Waziri, a prominent leader of the coalition, the group—operating under the name Coalition for APC Youth Movement—said the action followed serious allegations that the affected leaders had deviated from the core principles and objectives upon which the organization was founded.

The statement explained that Adamu Mukhtar Unguwar Gini, who served as the State Chairman of the coalition, and Nasiru Bala Aminu Ja’oji, the Coordinator for Kano Central, were removed after allegedly engaging in political activities without the approval or guidance of the APC leadership in Kano State. The coalition specifically accused them of acting independently without waiting for directives from the party’s leader in the state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

According to the coalition, such actions were viewed as a threat to internal cohesion and could undermine the collective efforts of the APC as it works to strengthen its political base in Kano. The group emphasized that loyalty, consultation, and adherence to party hierarchy remain essential values for all members, especially those in leadership positions.

Following the removal, the coalition announced that the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Muhammad Maikasuwa Rano, would assume leadership of the organization in an interim capacity. He is expected to oversee the affairs of the youth movement while efforts are made to restore stability and refocus the group on its founding mission.

The coalition also used the opportunity to reaffirm its unwavering support for the APC at both the national and state levels. It restated its full loyalty to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the leadership of His Excellency Murtala Sule Garo and Hon. Kabir Abubakar Bichi, expressing confidence that their collective leadership will secure continued success for the APC in Kano State.

The statement concluded by calling on APC youths across the state to remain united, disciplined, and committed to the party’s ideals, stressing that personal ambitions must always give way to the broader interests of the party and the people it serves.
