Announcing the results after the casting and sorting of votes, the Returning Officer declared Comrade Ayuba Tongs winner and Chairman after polling 450 votes to defeat his opponent, Yarima Solomon, who scored 326 votes.

Danladi Dakwak clinched the position of Vice Chairman, having scored 434 votes, while his closest rival, Kwande Victoria, got 340 votes.

The position of Assistant Secretary was won by Caleb Adang, who got 440 votes to defeat his rival, Barry Zang, who scored 332 votes.
Until his emergence, he served as the Public Relations Officer for two consecutive terms.

Maryam Wikili emerged winner for the position of Assistant Financial Secretary after defeating three other contestants.

Benedict Solomon was declared winner for the post of Public Relations Officer, having defeated Victor Dalyop with 433 votes to 342 votes.

The position of Organising Secretary was contested by Tina John and Naomi Malo.
Having scored 465 votes against 360 votes, Naomi Malo was declared winner and returned elected.

Emmanuel Azi polled 555 votes to defeat Mohamed Ali, who scored 212 votes.

Sa’adatu Abdul emerged unopposed as Treasurer, while Barrister Oliver Dadut also emerged as Legal Officer unopposed.

The position of Internal Auditor remains vacant because the minimum qualifications provided by the constitution were not fulfilled. A bye-election will be conducted subsequently to fill the vacuum.

Shortly after announcing the results, the new Executives were immediately sworn in amid jubilant members who defied the heavy rain, cast their votes, and patiently waited for the outcome.

The election took place at the High Court of Justice, West of Mines, Jos.

In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated Chairman, Comrade Ayuba Tongs, appreciated God Almighty for granting him and his colleagues victory.

According to him, “there is no victor, no vanquished,” and he promised to operate an open-door policy.

The Chairman also promised to consolidate on the achievements he has recorded so far.
