ELDER BENJAMIN OLOWODOLA CHARGES APC MEMBERS IN KOGI WEST TO WORK FOR PARTY PROGRESS, SHUN BICKERING

Elder Benjamin Olowodola, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State, has called on party members in Kogi West Senatorial District to close ranks and focus on the progress of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Elder Olowodola said the APC can only remain strong and deliver on its promises to the people if members prioritize unity over personal interests.
He urged leaders, elders, women, youths and all stakeholders in Kogi West to “work for the progress of the party and leave bickering,” warning that internal division and needless disputes only weaken the party and create opportunities for opposition forces.
“Leadership is about service, sacrifice and building bridges,” he said. “The APC in Kogi West belongs to all of us. We must put the interest of the party and the people above individual ambition. The time for bickering is over. The time to work is now.”
Elder Olowodola, who led the “Concerned APC Stakeholders and Leaders in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu local government area” emphasized that the party’s strength lies in inclusiveness, grassroots mobilization, and respect for party structures.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and other leaders of the party for their efforts in stabilizing the APC in Kogi State, and called on members to support government policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
He further charged party faithful to take ownership of the APC at the ward, local government and senatorial levels, and to engage in issue-based politics rather than personal attacks.
“Our people are expecting development, empowerment and good governance. If we remain united, APC will continue to be the party to beat in Kogi West,” he added.
He charged members to reaffirm their loyalty to the APC in working together for the growth and success of the party in the 2027 general elections.
