The delegation from Ghari was led by Alhaji Zubairu Gwambaza and the local government chairman, Hon. Hashimu Garba Mai Sabulu. Alhaji Sunusi Gwarmai, Galadiman Ghari, and other stakeholders pledged to mobilise support for the APC at all levels.
Mai Sabulu said members of the delegation had embraced the APC SAK campaign, while Senator Barau commended his leadership and assured the stakeholders of his continued support. He also donated two vehicles and N100,000 to each member of the delegation, according to the account of the meeting.
The engagement also witnessed the defection of Baba Ali from Tsanyawa and Yusuf Manya from Ghari, alongside their supporters, from the Kwankwasiyya political movement.
